Ken Livingstone, British local government leader, was criticized in a tribunal for racist comments that he made to Oliver Finegold. The Mayor was indicated making comments that suggested a Jewish reporter was similar to a Nazi concentration camp guard, which was considered to be have been done in an unusually insensitive way. On a City Hall press conference he told that after a week’s reflection he was still not going to apologise for this. "What I said to this reporter was irrelevant whether he was black, gay or Jewish. I said it because he was a reporter - that was the defining issue," Ken Livingstone declared. Ken Livingstone has been the Mayor of London since the creation of the post in 2000. He is known as 'Red Ken' because of his left-wing views.
