September 1st there is a Liberty festival organised on Trafalgar Square in London. This is the event aimed to prove that disabled people are no less talented than “normal” ones. 2007 is the festival’s fifth year and this time the programme includes: children’s arts, comedy and cabaret, street arts, visual arts and film, carnival, aerial and circus, stalls, displays, music and dance. The entrance to the Liberty festival is completely free. It is also well equipped with information points, lifts, wheelchair loan service, assistance dogs area, free mobility bus and other facilities for the disabled.
