Londoners are definitely fond of running. Another running event after the London Marathon is the Square Mile Run, held in the city on June 7th. At 7 pm about 2000 participants will run across the streets of London, past its most prominent landmarks like St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, City Hall, Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre. Runners start at Paternoster Square, then follow the 3,5 race route, and finish at the Millennium Bridge. The Square Mile Run is a charity event, organized to raise funds for the homelessness charity Crisis. Advanced entry is closed already, but still, there will be a lot of additional places, so its not too late to take part. To participate, you will have to sign in at the new entries desk, which opens at the Paternoster Square at 5.30pm. The entry is chargeable.
