The process of creation of works and art and the idea that the artist wanted to deliver to the public may sometimes be a mystery. However, thanks to Arts Unwrapped, many questions will be answered. For three weekends (18-20 May, 1-3 June and 8-10 June) over 40 studios all over London will open their doors to visitors, allowing them to observe artists’ workplaces, meet the artists themselves, and acquire or simply look at works of contemporary art. You will see all kinds of creations, from ceramics and paintings to animation, photography, videos and more. Many of the studios participating in Arts Unwrapped are organizing special events, including performances, film screenings, workshops and even barbeques. For those who can’t make up their mind on which studio to visit, there are guided tours organized around the most renowned ones.
