Model engineering is a widespread hobby not only among children, but also among many and many adults. If you’re one of those, visit Model Engineering and Modelling Exhibition that takes place at Alexandra Palace on January 19th – 21st. The exhibition is considered to be one of the largest events of this kind in the South and presents as many as 800 fantastic scale models, from the ones from the past to the modern ones. For those who are interested in modeling, this is a good chance to show their skills and talk about their hobby, as lots of modeling clubs present their works at the exhibition. Not only trains, but also many other objects from model boats to destroyers and rockets are represented. Moreover, there will be lots of experts present at the exhibition to discuss the topic with other modelists as well as give their advises and explain some techniques to those who are interested. And, of course, lots of things like materials and machinery can be bought. The opening hours are 10.00 – 5.30 Friday and Saturday and 10.00 – 4.00 Sunday.
