The Renaissance style and art has always interested specialists, that is why research has been conducted, the results of which can be observed at the Victoria and Albert Museum from December 8th till January 7th. The exhibition reveals the role of urban Italian homes in flowering of the visual arts and the Renaissance in particular. The point is, lots of homes were richly decorated with paintings, sculptures and various decorative objects. The structure of the exposition is a traditional one: you will walk around different rooms of the Renaissance home and discover beautiful furniture, ceramics, textiles and more. At the same time, all the objects presented will help you to imagine the wide range of the rooms’ functions. To organize the exhibition, specialists from Britain, Italy and the United States were brought together. The results of their joint work can also be discovered in the accompanying book.
