From Saturday, October 7 till Saturday, October 14 The Studio Gallery in Wheathampstead will be displaying works of the promising artists from Wheathampstead House, who now have a chance to show their talents and abilities. You will see the paintings of about 150 pupils as well as several staff from the junior department of St Albans High School for Girls, who have had different types of mediums to make their works with. Also, among the participants of the exhibition there will be girls from the Albans High School after school art club. Both Susan Dunkerley, head of the Wheathampstead House, and Mrs Williams, the art coordinator of the school, are looking forward this event as this is a fantastic opportunity for the both institutions. Some works from the exhibition will also go towards the Wheathampstead Welfare Group. The exhibition is opened from 10am to 4pm, on Sunday from noon to 4pm and from Wednesday to Friday from 2pm to 4pm. Entry is free
