On Sunday, August 27 there will be a great event in London - Notting Hill Carnival, which is in fact hoped to be the biggest carnival after the one in Rio-de-Janeiro. Organizers say, that it will also be an important contribution to local economy (by about £93million) and will be accompanied by the music from 40 sound systems. This year it is expected that more that two million people will visit the event, that is why Seamus Kelly, commissioner of St John Ambulance London advises the visitors to be really careful. For instance, you should wear loose clothes to avoid sunstroke, and visa versa – depending on weather, put on warmer clothes, if necessary. Also, it is advised to take water and food with you as it may sometimes be difficult to get to restaurants and cafes. And put on your most comfortable shoes, as you will need to walk a lot this day. In order to prevent accidents and injuries, there will be 15 ambulances and 11 treatment centers as well as 200 volunteers operating at the carnival, who will provide first aid, medical and ambulance support.
