If you are going to spend the following week in London, be also prepared to take part in a week dancing festival, with a main event at Trafalgar Square, aimed to set a world record for the largest number of people dancing at the same time for two-minutes. According to Jacqueline Rose (one of the event’s organizers) Londoners are really waiting for the start, as it is not only the way to have fun, but also an opportunity to view a wide range and diversity of dancing styles. Among the events there are also “The Place on the Piazza”, Free taster sessions at Laban, Sadler’s Wells Brazilian carnival at Rosebery Avenue, Combination Dance at Hampton Court Palace, Protein Dance at Canary Wharf and more. The Big Dance is organised by the Mayor of London in partnership with Arts Council England and the BBC.
