Russia's no.1 beer, Baltika, brings Siberian coldness to London's 2nd Annual Russian Winter Festival, which takes place in Trafalgar Square on 15 January. The festival will draw together many strands: music, entertainment, food and drink, as well as traditional festival activities. The Russian spirits comes alive with some of Russia's most popular bands, but the rendezvous for real Russians will surely be at the two Baltika Bars. The Baltika St Petersburg Bar will be situated on the West side of the Square, and the Baltika Moscow Bar will be located on the East. Russian food will also be available. Russian rock legends, DDT, turn up the sound on-stage around 5pm. The Russian Winter Festival tempted huge crowds from the moment it opened at midday, packing the Square until the event closed at 8 pm. Attendance numbers have been put at over 50,000, though it is likely that the actual figure was much higher.
